For their second consecutive album Hot Chip have found a good balance of electro beats and catchy pop hooks. Personally though I think it’s a bit samesy (I don’t even care that it’s not a word). I can’t justify too much time on the album, but I’m sure it has its place in the “scene”. Certainly not a painful listen.
