I was reluctant to listen to this because I though Post-Nothing was rubbish. There was just so much of the same sounding shit coming off the Pitchfork recommendations back in 2008 that it was hard to give it a proper go. Some regular prodding by a friend convinced me to give it a spin, thankfully, and without wanting to go back and listen retrospectively this album is a definite improvement - more The Hold Steady, less Deerhunter & No Age.
