I often hear/read people raving about “multi-intrumentalist” Andrew Bird as though he’s the second coming. This is the second album from him that I’ve given a try but it doesn’t do anything for me. Yeah, there are some nice moments but as a 60 minute album I mostly found it mediocre. No doubt there are a hell of a lot of intricacies/subtleties that I am missing on account of having no musical ability myself though…
